Okay so are you saying UPS wants the drivers to back in so they can just pull forward to leave? I'm surprised they just don't mount a camera in back so the driver can see if anybody is behind them. You positioned them right behind tire. You created a electrical mud flap. Good rules of backing(former UPS driver training). "Nose out" in driveway and parking lots. Driver side back: you can see area. Blind side back(passenger), you can't. If you have to back up, do it before parking. That way kids or objects will not be behind you.
Andy, The brown truck has a back-up camera. They consider backing accidents, the most avoidable. They stress to avoid them and making left hand turns.Okay so are you saying UPS wants the drivers to back in so they can just pull forward to leave? Okay I understand. I wasn't quite following you before.Andy, The brown truck has a back-up camera. They consider backing accidents, the most avoidable. They stress to avoid them and making left hand turns.
I put a pair of these on my 2016. Different brand. I used hose clamps and rubber--the kind you use for plumbing connections--and strapped them to the hitch tube. They are wired separately, with the switch on the side of the console. I rarely use them, but they are very useful for hooking/unhooking trailers at night.

20K miles so far and holding strong. If you want to do it, use one of these in the picture (or maybe a larger one) and cut it so you use one clamp per side. You can see in the picture that I had to shim it to get it to the right level. You HOSE CLAMPED em and they stay put????
To that squarish profile rail thing????
Wow....would not have expected that
