3rd gens can be modified with FORscan too, not just 15+, so I figured i’d make a thread for it for anyone to post their findings.

I unfortunately don’t have any modifications handy, but I am looking for quite a few.

My biggest two I am looking for:
-Disable hyper flash (Want LED blinkers on my Limited, don’t want those 1000 degree resistors. For some reason, Limiteds blinkers are controlled through the computer, not a flasher relay)

-Disable TPMS (Getting a fault once in awhile when I drive more than 30ish miles. I check my tire pressure religiously)

Perhaps you should check out the TPMS? If they are giving faults, they may need to be serviced or replaced. Why disable something because it's broke? That just calls for trouble when you get a flat and don't know it. TPMS has helped me in many occasions.

Do you have a cheap cell phone charger plugged in the power port? That can screw with the tpms system. Had a quick shop cheapie in mine, kept getting the error message, changed to a Verizon charger, no issues since.

Anyone had any luck with FORScan on the power folding mirrors (2014)? I know the newer models you can set in FORScan for the mirrors to fold in every time to turn off the vehicle and fold back out on restart.

Thanks for this thread! Subscribed to see more.

I would like to see if the following is possible:

enabling autofold mirrors
enabling global window open/close all 7 windows
auto relock enable
disable horn honk w/ 2 presses on fob
disable rear park assist beep
remote start

I'll probably think of more...

This happened to me in my 2010 Limited. I switched out to a different USB adapter and everything got better.

Has anyone ID the address for correcting the tire size in a 2011 expedition. I have done this in my 2016 F150, but I am not finding the information for a expedition. Thanks.

Can we add the tire pressure screen? I have the forscan software, waiting on the cable, I hope the one I ordered works for programming.

Edit: I read the other thread, and as of now nobody's been able to figure it out yet.

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I have a 2013 LTD.
I replaced all the lights with LEDs and now looking for some help with ForScan to get the flashing speed rate back to normal.

I have a Windows 10 laptop and will download the ForScan software. (yea i know Windows 10 is not a good platform)

There seem to be a large number of cables to connect the computer to the car connector. What cable do you recommend ?

Is there a code that needs to be changed to make the flashing go back to the normal speed?

Is there any other places i can pick up some info on ForScan and working with it to make changes?
