External Temperature

I have a 2003 Expy EB and the external temp display in the display stopped working. It's not a big issue but wondered if anyone had ideas on how to get it working again. Thanks

Like, hitting that button doesn't bring up the external temp? On a side note, does anyone know how to display the external AND the internal temp at once? they're in different places on the display, I should be able to have both!

I think the sensor is located between the radiator and the front grill under the plastic cover under the hood near the hood latch? Does that make sense?

I makes sense to me! I just pulled off the grill and that other stuff yesterday and happened to notice it hanging there. At first I didn't know what it was and thought something was missing, but I figured that had to be what it was

Well being sandwiched near all that heat explains why they never read right. Mine always reads 10 degrees higher than real temp. It's just a novelty anyway, I mean if its hot or real cold, what does it matter except for conversation.

I sprayed some WD40 around the button and worked it several times. I've had good luck with this in the past with cruise control and radio button on the steering wheel that stopped working.

Wd 40 works on more than stuck bolts. Years ago I used it on ignition points and all kinds of stuff. When I was young, I didn't even know about electrical cleaner, used to spray wd40 on pretty much anything.
