Some catch can systems offer a third port on the can to receive vacuum from turbo inlet pipes when there is a loss of intake manifold ported vacuum.
Thanks guys. I checked out the JLT can. It looks good, but they don't show the inside of the can to see if there's any baffling. Also, I don't see where that one is any nicer than the $50 one I posted above. It's $139. Not trying to be super cheap, but not trying to throw $90 away either. Is there something nicer about it that I'm not seeing?Look at JLT for a great alternative.

Nice. That might be the way to go then. Thanks!JLT does have media inside to return the oil to a liquid form and collect it (before it enters your engine). The advantage of the JLT over what you posted above is the JLT is plug-n-play...it has the correct connectors for a simple install.
Lots of pics on-line including the sites that sell them. There's a ton of videos showing the installs of the $400 ones too. Most of the info/pics are for the F150, but near as I can tell they're pretty close to identical in most cases.Anyone have pictures of these catch cans installed? And thoughts of catch can/ oil separators, are they not the same?

My thought on the $50 can that you show is this.... it looks like it has the same ball valve that’s used on my RXP Can, which is a quality valve, and the rest of the cans parts look to be ok also as far as quality goes. What the kit is lacking is the factory ford hose connectors that make a clean install. I definitely think it’s better than installing nothing so you should buy it and try it. If you want the factory connectors you could order them from Ford and probably still be way under budget! Post pics and results when you are done. Not to be a dick guys, but I'm trying to find out more thoughts on the cheaper alternatives. I don't want to see my post get derailed too bad... Thanks for understanding.
Awesome reply. I appreciate it! I was thinking about making up a cpl hoses like you said too. I'll post up what I end up doing. My thought on the $50 can that you show is this.... it looks like it has the same ball valve that’s used on my RXP Can, which is a quality valve, and the rest of the cans parts look to be ok also as far as quality goes. Not much the dealerships can bother you for. They can try to deny your claim, but unless they can prove that your issues are a result of the can there's nothing they can do legally.Maybe a silly thought, but what do the dealerships think of these? Just wondering as far as warranty issue's? I honestly don't understand why they aren't factory installed.
