Installed a JMS BoostMax and PedalMax to my Expedition. For a quick rundown of what they do check out the link on their homepage http://www.jmschip.com/boostmax-performance-for-ford-ecoboost/

What a difference!! Totally made the truck even more pleasing to drive than before. Extra power for passing and the throttle response is much improved. For those of you that have a drive by wire system the PedalMax really made the truck feel like it has a throttle cable again. And the Boostmax works as advertised. It really puts you back in your seat now when you give it some of the go pedal. The fact its warranty friendly is a plus and install time between the 2 was less than 30 min. Very happy with the decision to do this over a tune.

I put one in also.... amazing difference.... It really does make my Expedition 2017 much more responsive and the power feels much better. I am not sure it gives the car much more power, it seems like it does. I think its the much quicker response to throttle inputs that makes if feel much more powerful. Off the line its like night and day.

I have the boostmax but not the pedalmax yet. The 40HP and 45TQ extra is impressive and doesn't leave a footprint in the ECM.

I am using the red chip with 87 octane. I wont be filling this beast up with expensive 93 octane.

The speed demon in me has won. I have removed the red chip and now filling with 93 octane. Way more power, especially getting on the highway. This thing really goes quick from 60 to 80MPH now.

That's funny Nascar.....your posts are almost exactly 1 year apart....amazing how Speed & power corrupts isn't it? Just a gradual thing, a little at a time and next thing you know, your blasting off leaving a Camry struggling to keep up!

You should try a 2 stroke street bike...or a turbo'ed bike....like being blasted out of a cannon!

I had an RM80 dirtbike as a kid and it was fast. My toy now is a Steeda tuned 2013 Mustang GT and will hit 60 in 4.1 seconds. It will throw you back in your seat!

Update - trans in 4A and power brake the engine to build some boost. This launches very hard. I wasn't expecting it and got a head rush. My wife got nauseous. This engine really is an EcoBeast with the JMS Boostmax!

that would be awesome! I am hoping this summer when we get a newer truck that the F150 3.5 Eco boost will work for my towing needs. I'd love to be able do something like that. Does a system like that work.with a tuner from 5 star too, or is it not needed? Still debating if we will be getting a F150 or a gas F250.
