And they're $250 instead of $650.
With as fast as this tech moves, I would much rather spend $250 on something that will be obsolete in 3 months than $650. OS powered touchscreen headrest TVs for less than $2k would have been unthinkable just 2 years ago, so who knows what will be available two years from now. Just a different approach. We use the TVs once a quarter on road trips; I guess if you used them on a daily basis it would make more sense to pay up for something bigger and better.
Do y'all remember the license plate game on road trips? Haha
The $650 is for 2 12.1’s, the $250 is for one 10.1 from Amazon. The 4x4shop.ca has 2 10.1’s for $270, but just for DVD functionality. So it depends on what you are looking for.

these are by far the best option in that price point...I did get insurance for these bad boys.square trade to replace them for 4 years was a no brainer

Those look awesome! Something like that will be what I upgrade to from my current setup (once my kids aren’t 4 and 2 and want to watch something other than Finding Nemo and Cars on loop for the whole. entire. blessed. road trip)

These look great man. Unfortunately, my four kids would probably grab on to the units while getting into the car. The way they stick out just invites someone's hand to hold on to them. I can also imagine in the event of a crash, smashing one's head into the glass screen won't be a pretty sight. I much prefer those that are integrated into the headrest. Either way, they look very sleek.

We just use an I pad mount on the moon roof. I know not perfect, but we can all watch/listen to the same movie. On big road trips we have a roof carrier installs, so helps to block the sun. Even without the carrier the kids have yet to complain, but I guess it is better than the license plate game
