Painting chrome rims black???

I have an 08 expy limited with chrome rims. I want know if these can be painted or powdercoated black. If it can be done how much does it cost?

Your best bet is to find a powder coater in your area and ask them directly.

Dupli-Color also makes metal cast paint, check their web site for the application directions.

Granted, for better durability, I'd say sand blast then powdercoat.

You are correct. Its just a cheap plastic covering attached to the rim. I personally would not spray paint that.

For best adhesion, you will have to sand/media-blast the rims, then get them painted or powdercoated. If you take them to a good shop, they can do both the prep and paint.

can you post a pic of the wheel? wondering what it looks like without the chrome cover. is it already black?
