The wife and I are looking for either a 2018 or 2019 Expedition Platinum or Limited. I don't know of any major differences with the 18 vs 19's. Am I right on that assumption? Also is there a good place online to buy Ford accessories at wholesale pricing?

Thank you.

There are places like Tasca Ford in Rhode Island that sell genuine Ford parts at discounted prices; however, when you add in shipping, any savings will be affected...and several larger Internet sellers have been coerced into collecting buyer's state sales taxes on online sales lately which, if Tasca does assess them, will further eat into your savings. Sometimes places like Tasca will put a part on eBay for less than their website price. For example, a couple years back I bought a (Lariat) leather-wrapped steering wheel through eBay from Tasca to replace the deteriorated plastic one on my F-150 XLT and their eBay price for the Lariat steering wheel was cheaper than the website price for a XLT steering wheel--by a lot. If you can get the part number of what you want, doing Internet searches can sometimes save you significant cash; but keep in mind that the wholesale/jobber prices at Ford dealers aren't always a whole lot less than their retail prices.

I'd say whichever gets you the configuration you want and at the best price. Not too much difference that I have found (did not know about CD). I found my 2018 shopping on-line and flew from MT to Denver to pick-up. I purchased through Echo Park; which is among the new format car sales companies (CarMax, Carvana, etc.). I really liked this experience over the traditional salesman to sale manager to you merry-go-round. I arrived at the facility at 11:00 and was headed home at just after 1:00. Good luck.

We bought the 2019 Limited with a couple packages and we love it. 8K miles and all is great. We love it. The CD player is going the way of the 8 track in vehicles.

I’m not aware of any differences other than the CD player either but we bought a new 2019 Platinum in September and love it!
