First wash!
I'm usually not a fan of tire shine but on the black wheels it's pretty much a requirement...

I picked up the cheapest electric power washer at Wally World and I'm totally sold. Perfect for car washes... With two people (one on the spong and one on the washer) and you can knock out cars pretty quick. Next I have to see if it has enough oomph to tackle the deck...

BEAUTIFUL....its enough to make me want another black car...but nope im over that ;)

I don't know what your water is like over there...but here in Houston our TDS is 425+, ripe for spotting.
I bought a Deionized Rinse filter and LOVE IT....I can was the wifes black Miata in the sun and rinse it w/ the di-water and not even have to worry about spotting.

I bought the Di 50 Pro filter and my only regret is I should have bought the larger 100 filter - https://rvtransformers.com/spotless-water-di-systems/

I would not bother w/ the smaller blue tanks (even if you use dual/blue filter) ala CR Spotless etc...they just don't have enough filtering capacity....youll be exchanging the filter media too frequently

The chemical guys drying towels are really good as is their cannon. I have their pink soap that does great but I use the Gtechniq soap for the Navigator, apparently it’s best for their coating which I have.

Yeah I have all sorts of soaps. My latest acquisition is this. Excited to try it this weekend: Dr. Beasley's w12d Detailing Body Wash-12 oz. Super Concentrated Formula, No Agitation, for Ceramic Coated Vehicles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083W1JDK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GzBQEb59JM3RP

This guy has a lot of good videos about detailing including the 3 bucket method (I always used 2 in the past). He also sells products etc. For some reason I find his exotic car detail videos fun to watch.

Question for those who wash by hand: how do you wash and dry the roof?

What’s the 3rd for wheels? Just a different soap for wheels or something?

I just bought a woollywormit wheel brush and lug nut scrubber... the micro-fiber brush fits on a rubber / flexible/bendable shaft......ive used all kinds of brushes to get between spokes and reach behind the wheels....drives me NUTS to see clean wheel faces while everything behind the face caked w/ brake dust and dirt.

the brush comes w/ some interestingly SIMPLE foam lug nut brushes...and extra foam replacement pads (for when you wear one out)...another struggle getting the wheel clean around the lug nut recess/hole...the simple foam brush just WORKS....both of these things work better than anything else I own or have tried.

The wheel brush makes fast work of cleaning the back side and between spokes, well worth the money!

Interesting gadget. I like the end that goes into the lugs but the brush looks MUCH more tedious than just using a giant mitt. I can see how it would be helpful in getting BEHIND spokes though.

ive tried other lug nut brushes and nothing really works...until that silly little sponge/brush, put it on the lug nut, twist it and done!
I had been use one one of these Spoke Woolie on the wheels but it was much more time consuming than the new woollywormit thing.

the woollywormit (jeezus is that really the best name they could come up w/)....
I only use the woollywormit for cleaning behind the wheels...the face of the wheel is easily cleaned w/ a microfiber mitt
anyway the woollywormit is easy/fast and not tedious at all (at least not on my 5 (dbl) spoke stealth wheels....

Thank you for posting that wheel wand...
It wont be much help on the navi wheels but a god send on my other car's wheels. The large holes make drum cleanliness essential. I imagine it would be very helpful on the Platinum wheels as well.

I just meant it would be tedious for washing the whole wheel including the face. A mitt would be much easier for that.

The one great thing about the Navigator turbine wheels is that you don’t have to worry about the backside of the wheel... however, cleaning the 16 turbine spines isn’t a walk in the park but the right tools make it survivable.

What wheel cleaning tool do you use?
