Hello. I have a 2000 Ford Expedition and was watching Scotty Kilmer's channel. He's a mechanic.
He said that we need to buy the proper things for our vehicles including coolant and oil.
I'm interested in a four season coolant. Any suggestions?
Each time I get the oil changed in my vehicle I always forget to ask what type of oil that's being poured in. Any advise will be appreciated.
Thanks.

If you have an Owner's Manual, the info you are asking about is included.
The manual will show the recommended oil type, quantity, viscosity, and filter.
(IT WON'T INCLUDE WHAT OIL IS BEING POURED INTO YOUR EXPY.)

I use 5w-30 and good old green Prestone coolant. Original owner 2001 expo 300,000 miles on original engine, trans and radiator. Oil change every 5k, coolant flush every 30k, trans flush every 75k.

Motorcraft oil is made by ConocoPhilips ConocoPhilios also makes Kendal oil and comes in exactly the same red plastic container

Kendal GT1 Full Synthetic costs less than MoCo and has a far superior additive package

I failed to mention that I use high mileage synthetic oil because it’s so affordable now, usually super tech 5w-30 at 5k interval. Runs like new on all original engine and timing components 300k.
