Seems I'm going nowhere with Ford and their radio software fix I'm wondering if there is an aftermarket replacement that will replicate the factory lash up.
Any thoughts or ideas?
I'm more than willing to work with Ford but they have ghosted me on this issue. So I need some options as this has been going on for almost a month.

Attorney? Sue Ford to enforce the warranty you have? Of course, you should ask for reasonable attorney fees.

Ford has said that they are aware of the problem and are trying to resolve it. Not a winning case in mho. There has to be a better way.

Contact United Radio in NY for their thoughts. They perform most of the electronics repairs for dealers. I ship OEM radios to them for repair or refurb and skip the middleman dealership.

Thanks for the response. But I talked to them a few weeks ago as they were shipping a replacement to the dealer. That replacement failed in the same manner immediately upon install. Ford mantains that it is a software issue between whatever the heck talks to who knows what. It is beyond my area of expertise, especially when you can't get the info. They claim to be working on it. As best as I understand it the problem lies between the ACM and the APIM. Whatever the hell they are. Then of course this is probably where XM becomes involved. They are all having a party behind my dashboard. I'm looking for expedited action from Ford.
