Can someone please tell me what this cable is for behind the brake pedal on my 2001 Eddie Bauer 4x4 and what the T fitting is plugged into. Is it just to hold the cable in place or is it some sort of vacuum line? Thank you!

Sure looks like the accelerator cable - and its plastic mounting piece.
