The big thing that EVERYBODY needs to remember. Ford is NOT keeping the programming and module config the same in a generation or even a model year anymore. That is proven by the fact that the 18/19's programming is different than the 2020's, and the 2021's even have a few small tweaks. With the chip shortage, Ford is making more changes even more often. On the 21+ 150's we are seeing changes after updates. Not only does the module matter, but the version will too. I haven't seen the modules on a 22 Expy yet, but I expect them to more closely match the 21+ 150 than the 21 Expedition. You change a bit based on previous coding, and if you did not back up, you could be REALLY sad. There is nobody that I am aware of mapping differences between the versions in this community, like there is in the 150's. With Russia and Ukraine and the FORSCAN developers being in Russia, there is risk of less and less support(They can't get paid). If you are on a 22, be very careful of the changes you make, and BACKUP before every change.

Now that we have Sync 4 and OTA updates, LokiWolf's warning might go double. My Experience with the Mach E is that they just kind of randomly happen every now and then, and you might not even notice them until you're on your way out the door.

Hey, Loki.

Do you know if the temp numbers can be added on the 12" digital center gauges? I also changed the turn signal clicks from the default 3 to 5. I like it to linger a little longer since I take my time changing lanes. :)

I liked those ForScan mods on my 2019 one.

And since there is only one color for ambient lighting, I can't really think of anything else that i would want. It would be cool if the Ford logo could be replaced with a Timberline one. I don't know why they don't do that for the Special Edition models.

They can! Assuming you are talking about the Instrument cluster, and not Sync. You might need to contact FORSCAN support and get a Beta link. We can do it on the 21+ 150's and it is in the drop downs for the IPC. I am currently using a Beta, an older one, but it works on my 150, and is still a newer version than the current release version. If you are talking the Sync Screen it should be doable also...just haven't done it, but the 22 150's lost the knob display and have the zone temps on Sync.

I was trying to change a couple things on my digital instrument cluster. Basically, I want the temps to appear under the gauges as they were on my 2019 Expedition.

When I go into ForScan v2.3.47, I am getting a 'Gain security access failed - security key is wrong' when I go to write the settings to activate the 'Digital Engine Oil Temperature' and 'Digital Transmission Temperature' settings in the IPC Module.

Has anyone worked on the Expedition or F-150 that has successfully changed those settings?

Do I need the v2.4.5 beta 3 version to make changes?

I am running the Beta, and successfully changed it on my 2021 Job 2 F150. Should be the same module for the digital IPC.

Anyone know if the 22’s have adaptive glare free headlights and able to turn on with forscan?

@LokiWolf I’m coming from a 2020 raptor, so I am used to being able to customize nearly everything.

Edit: Found the folding mirrors easily in the menu once they delivered the vehicle. Now I’d like to silence nearly every beep/chime permanently (they wake up the baby). Have you seen a Forscan sheet for the 2022 yet?
