I would love to hear more feedback on using FORScan, especially in the 5th Gen.

Jeeze dude. You going to list the modules changed or not? Are you referencing a spreadsheet from another ford? Which one?

I was referencing spreadsheets for the 2025. That does not mean they are accurate, as they are copied and pasted too many times.
Forscan pretty much spells out what can be done safely, and has the module changes available for the year, make and model, under each category. I don't use spreadsheets and always perform a backup, in case something goes south. This way I can restore the backup. If you do this, you should be ok. It's also easy to place the changed digits in the wrong spots, so always perform a backup before changing anything.
My routine, though overkill, especially when working on a 3rd party's EX, is I backup, make a change, test, back up, make another change, test, backup, etc. It takes me longer but, for me, it's added insurance.

Thank you for clarifying.

I agree on backups, and wish the person that I am currently dealing with at home had backed up a certain file. The process that you explain for testing software mods is classic, and like you said, about the safest way to make a change.

A "Book of software tweaks" would definitely be worth some money, but with sale comes liability. A free (and liability free) "Experimenters logbook" to use at your own risk and contribute useful notes would be of great value here.

My 26 Tremor is too new for me to Mod anything yet. But I will be taking the dive in the year ahead.
