Ordered stealth performance star white on April 1, 2022.

Still no VIN. Order transferred to a 2023 in late august. Occasionally get the email from ford about supply chain issues but other than that, nada.

Got the email today that my 23 has been built and awaiting shipping!!

Ordered 11/02/22 built 1/13/23. Limited SPP on Tri metallic white with 304A, eLSD, HD tow, 2nd row bench, 15" screen, sport suspension etc. However they removed one touch rear window and handsfree lift gate which I didn't ask for and would have wanted.

Now the wait begins

Ordered our ‘23 Timberline in late September of 22 and picked it up last weekend Jan 7 ‘23. I am sorry to hear about your delays. I’m not an expert but learned a lot going thru the order process with a “good” dealer and reading here. For what it’s worth I would recommend the following:

1. Ask for an updated copy of buyers order when the dealer and Ford had to roll it to a MY23.
2. Check your buyers order against the latest 2023 Order Guide and ensure that all the required delete codes are showing (like auto stop/start, liftgate, rear window express, etc)
3. Try to find out very latest about status of any current parts holds, like orders must have HD Tow or cannot include 15.5” screen, etc and discuss making such changes with your dealer.
4. Double check the dealer order for the Priority Code assigned and see if they can place you at level 10. Higher is not better here, you don’t want to be a 19.

Wishing you luck on getting it resolved and taking delivery sooner than later!

It was mandatory to remove the one touch rear windows and hands free liftgate. The dealer had no choice but to do that on the order. No Expedition being currently delivered has that functionality.

Have you considered changing dealers? It seems they haven't done anything to make your order a priority. Given people are ordering now and getting them in approx. 3-4 months the dealership is not offering good support IMHO.

Any idea why as the window sticker I also received listed both of them as standard equipment? Thanks

My guess would be that they would revert back to having these items standard when they manage the chip issue better. For now they have the "option" of removal. My window sticker also lists the windows under standard equipment but then has the removal "option". I don't see the lift gate listed as standard but it shows the removal. My understanding was an order couldn't go in if those removals were not included.

I picked up my Expedition in Des Moines, and drove it back home to Colorado yesterday. Granger was a great dealership to work with, and I highly recommend them.

I found the website was slow to update once it hit the production level. It still showed in production when I got a call from the dealership that it was assembled and waiting to ship (more than a week after assembly). 2 days later it showed In Transit. However it did show it arrived the same day the dealership called to say it was there.

Speak of the devil, one day after showing a production date of 1/17/23 it showed up as built on 1/18/23. Awaiting delivery now. Can’t wait for my Stone Blue Limited!

If anyone looking for special edition XLT Max in Onyx white with heavy duty tow is looking for one in early March in the Milwaukee area, I can get you in touch with the dealer. The 2nd expedition we ordered as a "hedge" 2 days after the first has now been scheduled for wk of Feb 27th. PM me if you're interested and I can connect you in a couple weeks after my first arrives satisfactory.

My Platinum finally came in two days ago. I was probably 50/50 on getting it because it didn’t have the multi contour seats, but I decided to give it a look. Especially since I had locked in a great interest rate from Ford when I ordered.

Ultimately decided against it. I was not impressed with the build quality on a $90k vehicle. The platinum leather was already cracking and there were gaps in the seams, my daughters fusion has nicer leather. The top glove box would not close, the passenger side weatherstripping made a whistling noise when going above 45. Door panels had rough edges from the molding. One of the middle row seats would need a new seat cover because the zipper broke. Lots of little stuff, some of it nit picky of course.

All fixable, but who wants to deal with that headache. Shame because I am a Ford guy, and I love the way it drove and the ecoboost. Not sure where to go from here, as the Navigator is 20k more…so for now we will hold on to our Volvo.

My wife said this exact thing after test driving them both back to back. The price difference was barely 10k (expy plat was 83k, nav was 93k) and nav comes standard with more. we were looking for standard trim nav, not reserve, because even standard trim had more features than a platinum expy, but they are exceedingly rare. Ended up finding a good deal on a used nav.

Theres some navs out there without the mark up. Idk how far you are from San antonio, TX, but north park lincoln lowered their prices from msrp.

They also drive alot better than the expys as well.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I just checked my order status.
Last time I had a built date (Feb 27)
Now I don't
It's going backwards!

NOoooooOOOoooooOOooooooo!

Kidding aside. Does this mean anything?
Or just more randomness from Ford?
