Well apparently, 9/24 ford raised its ESP pricing, which was then reflected onto all the ford dealers that sell it, which then passed onto you and I.

I was waiting until my vehicle was closer to getting to 36k at 35k now, prior to buying. I was also saving money. I figured it was silly to finance a warranty (hindsight would have saved).

I had my list put together back in 3/24 from research from the major ones discussed on the form. I was going with the 10y/125k

Granger $3095 current $3455 +360 (100 deductible) prior quote, now $200
Flood $3095 current $3455 +360
Anderson $3120 current $3480 +360
Zeigler $3095 current $3730 +360
Lombard $3402 current $3959 +557

I'm quite disgruntled with this increase and the typical phone calls to all of them stating they can't match their old pricing. Same old excuse of material cost going up, yet the techs are not getting raises...

I wish I would have found a CPO gold vehicle to extend the ESP on them is almost 1.5k less than standard.

Also, amazing how you have to buy a separate $120 plan to cover the headlamps/ lighting.

Well, that is all just my vent of the day.

If I were here, you would know it !

Well, that's a bargin, considering that without the warranty, it usually cost about $800 to replace ONE side of the LED headlights, let alone the DRL's and/or fogs :)

But yea, I feel your pain, as simply EVERYTHING has went way, way up this year, from chewing gum to housing....

Just the other day, my neighbor was saying that he wants to sell his house (which is valued at about $250k) and move further away from the city, but even with the money he would get from his current house, he would have to either partially finance it or dip into his savings to make it feasible :(

I did a 96 month Premiumcare with 100k warranty through Granger on 10/4 for $2010.00. Happy with that.

If you plan to keep it, I think it's cheap insurance. If you see on here what some folks are paying to fix trannys and other things, $3000 is not bad. Especially if yours had issues down the road and divide that by how many years you'll have it. Get the LED lighting too. Headlight and taillight assemblies are around $1000 plus labor.

There is an old saying, "you snooze you lose." Unfortunately the only person to be disappointed with is yourself. Alas, lesson learned. I suggest you pull the trigger now or face the same disappointment again. We live in a very inflationary environment, so this is no surprise.

Also, $120 is a bargain for LED lighting.

I love my ESP, I have PremiumCARE on both of our vehicles, though I bought it at time of vehicle purchase. Good luck sir, and happy Thanksgiving!

You win some, you lose some.
Extended warranties are insurance. And, like all insurance, it's gamble. You are gambling that your vehicle will break. The issuer is gambling that it won't. The mere fact that insurance companies are awash in money tells me that the odds are in their favor.

I have Ford PremiumCare ESP with all LED lighting/housings option.

Today my dealer told me that they wont cover my 3rd brake light because it failed due to water condensation.... wow, I love how when u are signing up the saleman says its all covered no matter what

Only about 10% of the LED's work in it.

Now i have to change it Myself cause the dealer wants to charge $500 for the 3rd brake light and I can get it for $166 online.....

It seems to me that Ford Corporate has found a way to offset some of their 4.8 billion annual costs for warranty claims on new vehicles Warranty Costs . They know that their design / build quality is absolutely terrible and so do we all and they know that everyone who is going to keep their truck is going to purchase an ESP, so why not raise the price (again) on the ESPs everyone needs.

I had this same problem. Dealer mentioned normal condensation will happen so I took pictures showing it wasn’t normal and was actual droplets then they covered it.

10y125 is a lot of miles. Anyone know off hand what lesser years/miles cost?

I went through Lombard Ford and submitted my vin and mileage online. They e-mailed back numerous options and prices depending on coverage length, mileage and choice of deductibles. For sure if you have a limited or Platinum and LED lighting see what the Premium care with additional lighting coverage would cost since the lights are very expensive and cannot be repaired.

I just extended mine through Zeigler. Couldn't have been easier, best prices I could find.
Did you extend an Existing ESP or the Factory warranty? I have a 5 year ESP, that expires May 2025, I think I purchased through Flood. that I want to extend to Max Date.

Here you go (from flood), keep in mind to subtract 3 from any of those since this warranty runs consecutively with factory 3/36. Hence 10y is only 7y

Have you had issues with your daytime running lights? I have LEDs that are dead on my driver side, but dealer claimed that they aren't, yet you can see it with the naked eye.
