Thoughts on images I shared from forscan last night? There's no way to keep actual headlights on without the tailights illuminating. Likely the button was in the off position and you didn't realize it. Shops normally turn them off when they bring them into the bays. Most times when I get mine back from the shop the lights have been turned off and I have to flip them back to the auto position.
The DRLs are extremely bright and they look like the headlights do... only way you'll realize the headlights have not been turned on is that all your interior buttons (HVAC controls, audio controls, door controls, etc...) should still be dark, they only become illuminated when you turn the headlights on.
Interesting codes, likely they presented due to a battery replacement or low voltage. Keep screen captures and then clear the codes. Give it a couple days and then see if they’ve returned.Thoughts on images I shared from forscan last night?
Yeah I’m sending it to ford Thursday for all the codes I still have that issue too with the lane assist I’m guessing a Camera issue or something not reading the roadsInteresting codes, likely they presented due to a battery replacement or low voltage. A grounding issue is a likely possibility for why you may have had no lights the one night.
When they say not present at time of request does that mean it’s an old stored DTC? A ground/short definitely could be what i experiencedInteresting codes, likely they presented due to a battery replacement or low voltage. Keep screen captures and then clear the codes. Yes, it’s a stored code. When they say not present at time of request does that mean it’s an old stored DTC? A ground/short definitely could be what i experienced
Interesting so if i in fact had a short now it would show as present at time hence why you are saying clear them and see if they come back.Yes, it’s a stored code.
This indicates an issue with the heater wiper park. If the car is under warranty have the dealership take a look. Let them know what you’re seeing and don’t erase the code, they’ll need it present to go further with warranty work. Here
What warranty would this fall under im at 45k 2023 I’m still at the 60k warrantyThis indicates an issue with the heater wiper park. If the car is under warranty have the dealership take a look. Since no other codes are present, best to keep an eye on it but drive it as normal.
I do it’s 5 years/60k thru continental - I have a $200 deductibleUnfortunately this likely falls under the 3yr/36k mile b2b warranty and not the 5yr/60k mile powertrain warranty. I take it you don’t have an extended warranty added to the vehicle.
What level Continental plan do you have? Hopefully its a level that covers electric/lightingI do it’s 5 years/60k thru continental - I have a $200 deductible
