Dealer came out yesterday and did the upgrade. Haven't driven enough to notice any difference other than the display no longer shows what gear the vehicle is in.

During the sw update process the CAN bus is reset which caused this. Just put them back to your preferred preference.
Yes in the settingsHad this update when my oil was changed last week. The only difference I can tell is with my cruise control. It use to come a screen no adaptive braking when I would turn on the cruise control before setting the speed. Now it slows down depending on how close you have it set to the other vehicle ahead of you. Anyway of turning that off?
Since they updated it, they probably deleted all your learning data. So when you erase the TCM info, the tranny goes back to factory aggressive shifting. So, it should get tamer, once your learn info get recorded again.I had the recall done last week. Drove the Expedition over the weekend, and it's really shifting terribly now. Yesterday, during a cold start drive away it shifted so harshly that even my 9 year old kid asked what the heck was going on. I'm hoping the harsh shifting resolves itself quickly, otherwise it will be back to the dealership for even more transmission-related warranty work (it was already rebuilt under warranty a few months ago).
