Wiring question

2017 Expedition Limited with Heavy Duty towing package. My 12v slot doesn’t seem to be powered. The ground slot tests good but even with engine running voltmeter shows 0 between the 12v and ground slots. What can I do to trouble shoot? Where might a fuse be located?

I would check the harness connector for the trailer 4 or 7 pin connector, which is under the vehicle (I think on the driver side, above the spare tire) - to see if it is damaged and/or connected and/or corroded.

The 12v power that goes to the trailer has its own relay under the hood. worth a check.
