My chest is sore and the hearing in my left ear has 50% loss.
She's scared to ride in my X now because it was that traumatic
This, my friend, is called "pain & suffering" in legal terms, which you BOTH have definitely been subjected to. I would strongly suggest you BOTH have your ears examined by an ear doctor including an MRI like YESTERDAY, to be sure there is no permanent damage to your ear drums, and if your hearing does not return soon, I would definitely pursue a claim to cover your medical expenses for the appropriate surgical repair(s), as well as a lifetime prescription for top-quality hearing aids if needed....
And even if your hearing does return, get a repeat exam & test every 30-60-90 days for the next year or so. This is because hearing loss can seem to be so-so for a while, then go away, then get much worse all of a sudden and stay that way....
Trust me when I say I've "been there, done that", from way too many rock concerts in the 70's, 80's & 90's among other things, and I am paying the price for it now, having spent over $18K on hearing aides in the past 10 years and losing my balance & motion stability. Eventually I will lose my hearing altogether (a scary thought for sure), but hopefully I will be dead or almost dead by then and won't care (I have a lot of medical problems)
