I did a quick search and didn't see any posts where this was asked in the past.

Wondering if anyone has tried the WeatherTech Side Window Deflectors?

Looking for some feedback on how if they work well as in-channel deflectors and if anyone has experienced any issues with the auto-up window operation.
I don't care for the style that stick on the door frame and prefer this in-channel style.

Appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Can't speak to the WeatherTech, but for more vehicles than I care to count, we have used these: https://autoventshadestore.com/ventvisor-window-deflectors/
Never had any issues. Personally I'm apprehensive about using the in-channel to avoid any possible interference with the power windows.
Thanks. I've used the AVS a few times myself, most recently on my truck and my wife's suv. No issues with either vehicle using the in-channel type.

Weathertechs in our 2025, no issue at all. And we have to go through a badge check toll booth everyday.

I have the WT on my front windows only on my 2015. I like them, BUT, i think they cause a slight increase in wind noise, which only makes sense as they are causing a slight deflection of the wind. And since they install in channel, I can't / won't remove them since they have stretched the outer rubber seal enough to affect the seal and air noise.
Also, they do randomly affect the auto up/down in my experience anyway.
As I said, I do like them, but for the reasons mentioned above I have not installed them on the rear doors, they're sitting in the basement still wrapped in packaging.

I tried the in channel deflectors on my previous Expedition and they wrecked my power window's operation but good. I'll never try em again.

YMMV

Have them on my 2023. Had them on my 2016. No problems a quality product. Also have nose guard on the hood, eliminates chipped paint. Initially a little tight with window up but after a day or two no further issues

I appreciate the feedback. I agree that any set I've ever had does create a bit of wind noise, regardless of the brand or style.
I had not previously considered the affects on the rubber seal. I think you're right that once you have these, you're likely married to them.
