Removing glossy black painted A pillars???

I want to remove the A pillar covers that are between the front and rear doors.

These are the painted glossy black pieces, 4 total (2 on each side).

I also want to remove the two matching painted glossy black pieces above the tailights, separating the rear hatch windows and cargo windows (2 total).

Can someone please help explain how to remove/replace these glossy black pieces so I can re-paint them!

I have a 2005 Expedition.
