AIRAID intake for '05 5.4L

Just wondering if any one has input on this system, or any other airaid intake. Ive hade an AEM on a honda years ago, and it increased engine noise. The cheapest Ive found it is $290. I know Ive got 300hp but you can never have too many ponies!

I don't know why anyone would waste the money on one of those high dollar brand named units, when you get the same thing on ebay for like $35 + shipping. I have had both, and there is absolutely no difference.

The only thing the cheap replicas are lacking is a heat sheild for around the actual filter. You could easily make one yourself though.

I havnt been able to find a cheap one for the 2005. The '05 has the new 24 valve 300 hp engine and I believe the intake structure is different than the 03-04. Would one from the new f150 work??
