I am one of the biggest believers in Mobil One Synthetic. From the day my Expy's are new, Mobil One goes in them at 5W-20 (it's written on the oil filler cap). Rotors and pads are getting so cheap that you would be out of your ever loving mind to turn a set. The science behind the braking system is quite extensive. 18MPG around town on 03 5.4l
Took a day trip up to Flagstaff AZ, Elevation about 7,000 feet from Phoenix (elevation 1,200 feet) and huge up hill. Total round trip about 300 miles and I average 18.6 miles per gallon.
