I’m just doing the same .. I have a concern about the clearance between the melling m360hv and the Block it looks very tight ? I took the crank gear off just to double check that the pump was seated correctly, it was. Have an 2014 expi EL
Ok so when I opened the bag of 24 lash adjusters and inspected the bottoms it’s obvious these are used … even the oil smelled old which was the first give away these were not new parts .. on a surface glance you might think they look shiny and new.. this is a shame, I wonder from the comments...

The most I've done so far is to disconnect the coil leads and reconnect ( about a 5min job) that did help the severity and I thought i'd solved it but no, it started acting up shortly after..
