So you can get 285 on the expedition without needing offset rims? I would like to go a bit wider on my tires but it doesn’t feel like there’s any room behind the tire to go any wider.
I would love to get some 285/70/18 but nervous on fit.

Depending on the offset of your stock rim 285 seems to fit on all expys. If is 0+ or more seems it will clear the a-arm. The big question is the 70. Your looking at a 33.7 diam.
Not sure your trim level and stock tire size. but you could be looking at 1.6" bigger diam.
