My wife was driving and the expedition just died in middle of the street and won’t do anything.

Also I wasn’t there but the tow truck driver dragged the expedition onto the rollback. Should I be worried?

Did the driver drag it while the vehicle transmission was in park? In 2WD or 4WD (auto)? If so, that can damage drivetrain components. The vehicle should have been placed in neutral.

Anyone have any thoughts. Also will ford offer a rental? Here it is at the holidays and we don’t have our main car.

It’s not likely that you’ll end up with a rental unless it’s stipulated in your warranty paperwork. Even if your paperwork says you should have one, dealers normally don’t provide one until they’ve diagnosed the issue and can provide you with a lead time for repairs. After all that they may also not have any dealer loaners available and may be in willing to go through rental companies to provide you a loaner.

All this to say, don’t expect to be provided a loaner vehicle, be prepared to be without a vehicle.
