    which hubs are you using?? im putting lower and upper ball joints on my dads f250 fun fun time...im asking cause im going to to do the same to my 97 when she hits 200,000 miles(less than 14,000)...i have to do lowers now but im planning on uppers, hubs, bushings, tierod ends, pads, maybe rotors...

    the difference is the first one does four cylinders at at time(only 2 are needed)and is not considered COP(coil on plug)...the second is COP, meaning one coil per cylinder(8 needed)...i know my 97 5.4 4x4 takes the COP. and uneek supply is who i got my coils from..no problem with the 8 i ordered!

    Air intake silencer?

    Pull the negative! never the postive first, the electrical spike can and will kill the ecm over time or at once, the ecm/pcm/brain is very SENSATive to electrical spikes. The negative has a very little if not no electrical spike when disconnected.

    Just got a new 7X16 foot box trailer to haul whatever i need to. I was wondering where you guys think mounting an aux trans cooler would do the best. Yes i have the hd tow package(with cooler) just looking to cool the trans as its already been rebulit once. :(

    First get rid of them bosch platinum's (i have em in my truck not by choice) and run ngk's or motorcraft(preferred). With those plugs it runs with a noticeable stumble(compared to the same year truck running motorcraft ). and as long as the plug comes out without tearing the threads up you...

    Yup the mach's have an amp. I would check fuses. Im my 97 they are number 3 and 5 in the small fuse compartment under the hood and 8 under the steering wheel

    Go get the codes pulled before u pull all your hair out. It could be something as easy as a fluid change, solenoid to a complete rebuild. depending on the code(s) pulled. Most auto stores will pull codes for free.

    I know with my dads 02 f250, it has a 5500 rpm rev limiter. so i dont know if that is the same with our trucks or not.

    yea my dad had a 40 series original until it rusted apart, now hes rockin a 50 series street. i drive my grandmom around in mine and she doesnt like the drone. i will be going 50 or 40 when i need it next.

    my dad had a 40 on his truck and it was way too loud for my truck. im looking for a low noise almost like factory but more flow.

    i havent driven it yet took the picture when i got home. Driving it tomorrow. Ill record an in cab noise level. Anyone reccomend a good low noise factory replacement if it has fallen apart inside.
