We’re on a road trip and are kinda at a loss. Debating on what to do. It looks like adding fluid isn’t an option but if there’s a way to do this then I can limp home. Other than a tow, who’s got any ideas?
2018 Navigator Reserve 21 way seat.
So my passenger seat moves backwards until lockout and the motor continues switching on to move it further back several times before stopping, then will randomly attempt several more times ….. on and on the entirety of the ride as long as someone is sitting...
‘18 Navigator Reserve
Service manager called and said I need a new battery… this didn’t come as a surprise as mine is 4 years old and I’ve been having the tale tale signs of imminent failure… ie interior lights shutting off quickly, touch door lock issues etc…
What’s the consensus on the best...
2018 Navigator Reserve 4x4 and tow package.
I’m having an issue when I engage 4L. Once engaged it behaves like it’s not completely engaged and it immediately lunges and pops under throttle. I stop, disengage, move a little and engage again. After a couple attempts it works. Recently I’m...
I’m trying to find a good front seat mount for my 2.5lb H3R fire extinguisher. The H3R universal seat mount will not work with the Navigator seats. I checked the forum search feature and didn’t come up with anything. I have been carrying a Element 50 and it is fine but I wanted something else...
This post piggybacks from my previous electrical post. I’m getting 2.5 to 7.5 volts from my battery ground to the chassis and any bolt or chassis ground I touch. Correct me if I am wrong but shouldn’t this reading be 0 volts and anything other than 0 is evidence of something amiss, correct?
2018 Navigator Reserve with 30 way seats and tow package.
So this past weekend we were leaving camp and I was hitching up our camper, within a minute or so I smelled burning plastic and look to see the trailers breakaway cable smoking and melting. Quickly I unplug the 7pin plug and the...
I finally had enough with my weird battery issues and I also had the sticking deck lid button issues so I had my service rep come get my vehicle. Low and behold, the sticking deck lid button was causing a draw on the battery which was causing my battery issues. I’m not sure this is the same...
Business in the front.
Party in the back.
I starting to think about a more rugged wheel/tire setup. I know there are a ton of threads on here already that I’ve read but one thing I can’t seem to find any concrete opinions on is 18 inch vs 20 inch wheels. I don’t want to change the outer...
Anyone have to replace their fob battery? I’m curious how long they last... My intelligent locks are working but intermittently and I’m thinking it could be the fob battery.
We recently ordered a overland trailer and I need to supply power the trailer while in tow, it uses a Anderson plug to connect. The wiring instructions call for both positive and negative from battery but the Navigator owners manual says do not connect accessories to the negative terminal...
Anyone having this heatshield rattle when closing the rear deck lid or back doors? Mine has rattled, then fixed by the dealership only to rattle again later. I should get under there myself to look but figured I’d ask here first just in case someone had dealt with this and has a quick fix.
Just as the titles says, parked in garage, power down and get out. I come back a couple minutes later to get something out of the vehicle and all of a sudden the fan switches on full bore, it’s loud enough I almost hurt myself jumping out of the way. It ran for a minute or so before I started...
so I change the value to disable the seatbelt warning but it gives me an error ‘Service procedure has been interrupted’. Has ford made some items impossible to change?
I’ve never had this icon appear until today and it’s done it twice now. Any ideas on what causes this? It stays on until I turn off the vehicle. It came on during a second trip and stays on until I power down the truck. Thanks in advance.
I’m a first time user so I apologize for my ignorance.... I just don’t wanna mess anything up.
Any ideas on what these DTCs are about. Should I address them or not?
I finally got to take a break from my day job of stay at home dad and go on my annual adult trip fishing, camping, and other. This was also my first drive towing anything in the new Navigator as well. First impressions on the truck for camping are great, lots of room for gear and the ride on...
I have poured through the videos on the Lincoln and Ford site about using AppLink with my iPhone and can’t get any apps to show up in sync3. My phone is connected via usb and I can stream pandora but there is no icon in the sunc3 Mobile app area. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. I’ve...
Twice now my Lincoln app has given me the below message. The first time I didn’t pay it any attention but the second time I figured I’d call the dealer. Truck is at the dealer now and they can’t find anything. Anyone else experiencing a similar issue? Truck drives totally fine and there haven’t...
When starting my Navigator my headlamps move up and down, is this the correct direction? I thought the adaptive headlamps moved right and left. Ive only driven it once at night and didnt notice any movement at all while driving. The headlamps are in automatic mode.
The Navigator has ‘LINCOLN’ across the back in raised letters and I’ve been back and forth on removing these for a cleaner look. I know the Expys have badging on the door and tail gate as well. Has anyone taken off their badging on their trucks? Thoughts on this?
Got the build date for my Navigator and it’s the week of January 1,2018. Looks like Santa can’t squeeze down my chimney with it after all. I tried to upload the manual but it’s too big, I’ll try to trim it down and try again when I get behind my pc.
We used our Mustang Club of America membership to sign up for the Ford X-plan and are curious as to what benefits it has when buying vs not having it. We plan on buying a 2018 but are undecided on ordering now or waiting and don't know if the X-plan pricing would be different if we waited vs...
