My Sync 3 died, apparently. Took it to the dealer for diagnosis and they said the FCDIM needs to be replaced. Its my understanding the FCDIM is the panel where the button and knob controls for media and the HVAC system are. They are all functioning. Its the Sync 3 that doesn't work.

Bone stock 2017 hits the OBX 4x4 every year. Never had a problem. Just air down to ~15psi. If all you're doing is cruising you'll be fine, on either the hard pack or the soft sand.
I found that when forced to roll through the moguls on a busy day, driving faster, not slower, improves the...
Just noticed that OBDlink is showing the Engine Coolant Sensor 2 temp as -40F. Pretty sure thats not true. The #1 sensor shows 199F.
Is sensor 2 used on the Ecoboost?
Check your brake pads for binding. Be careful...they get can red hot. Carefully touch the area the lug nuts. It should be cool or slightly warmer than your hand. It should not be hot after normal driving.
Automotive AC systems are generally designed to lower the ambient air temp (outside) by 30 degrees. So when its 95 outside, you should expect the unit to produce air at 65. Now, if you stay in RECIRC mode, eventually the AC unit will cool the interior of the car, and that cooler air will be...
If you mean a Weight Distributing Hitch (WDH), yes. The WDH and the towing package give a max tow capacity of 9200#. Otherwise you're at 6200#.

That 9000# number is only if you use a WDH and have the towing package. That info is in the Ford towing guide.

600 pounds on the hitch shouldn't cause the truck to squat 'terribly'. Have you weighed the tongue? Is it 10-15% of trailer weight? What is your cargo weight (in the truck at or behind the rear axle....this gets 'added' to the tongue weight)?
I know what you're talking about. You just have a 'reservoir' cap. I forgot about those. I have a reservoir (vented) and a radiator cap (pressure containing)
EDIT: Ok, I was thinking about my 2008 Mounty.
Never mind.
The caliper isn't sliding as designed. Pull the slide pins....clean the pins and the bore and lube. May as well replace the brake fluid while you're at it.
There really isn't a minimum temp for tranny fluid, as long as it can flow. The high temp end gets a bit more complex. Normally (whatever that is defined as), tranny fluid operating temp would be 170F - <220F.
The variables that contribute to fluid temp are numerous, but mostly ambient air...
You need to accept your Expy as it comes out of the closet. Stop forcing it to be something it just isn't. Just because it has 4WD doesn't mean it wants to get dirty........

You can
You can be sure that the "item of issue" here is the sensor, and not the camshaft. Camshafts don't fail intermittently nor do they fix themselves. Replacing the sensor is a "2" on the difficulty scale. Most of your time will be finding the damn thing.
Bone stock. I have no idea if lights were stuck on. They aren't now.
I think it got wet and shorted out. That would explain the high heat needed to melt the plastic.
There may have been a a 'glitch' at some time in the past that set that code. IIRC, this is a "permanent" code that does not clear when the condition is no longer present. Nor does it set the MIL on. If you are experiencing a problem with the cam position sensors, the engine will run like...
