I've got some disturbing news 18 Expy owners. Was just informed that the module needed to fix our running boards has been pulled. Turns out this is a major wide spread issue and Ford is working to replace the malfunction module. We are told there is no eta on replacement parts. My local...
After having the vehicle for en entire day and putting several test miles on it they ended up recoding the ecm. The running boards worked last night but as if they were delayed. Then this morning nothing. Drivers side doesn't come out and passenger came out and stayed. Feels more like a 2007 and...
As of yesterday the running boards decided to stop working. We could hear them trying but no movement. Truck went into shop this morning and tech is hoping that its a loose ground for the whole works as he's yet to see any of these issues on the new Expy's. I will update tomorrow with what they...
I too spoke with them on Monday and was told they were doing product testing and production should start as early as next week. I was able to provide them my email and will be notified immediately once available. Looking for Expy Max with buckets in black.
We have a few more issues, curious if anyone else is experiencing.
- Still having the rear window issues. Getting rear window ajar warning. Sometimes it is latched (open and close to get error message to clear). But most of the time it is unlatched yet no button pushed. Also had one issue of...
Starting last week we started getting rear hatch/rear window ajar error messages. Go back and check and nothing was. Vehicle has 1200 miles. Anyone else getting these? Dealer told us to wait to see if it gets any worse so they can recreate the issue.
Has anyone removed them? What does it take? I'm not a fan of how they stick up above the chrome side rails. Are they easy enough to remove and install as needed?
Depends of the footprint of your jack wheels. I put down a small sheet of plywood. I absolutely love the floor and would highly recommend it. Ribtrax by Swisstrax. Installed myself. Living in ND its amazing how well it drains snow and leaves a clean dry surface.
I called in and ordered first row and cargo. Was told that just yesterday morning a corporate email went out that the design for second and third row had been approved and production was to start any day. So should only be a week or so. They even offered me free shipping on my 2nd and 3rd row...
FINAL UPDATE - 8.5 weeks after order was placed our vehicle was delivered and we will be picking her up this afternoon. The delivery ended up being 13days earlier than the COTUS website had originally predicted. Total transit time from Louisville, KY to Fargo, ND was 13 days.
Hoping this is my second to last update. Last week 4/3 Cotus went from In Production to Awaiting Shipment to In transit all on the same day with a new expected delivery date of 4/20. Then last night the expected delivery date changed again to 4/17. We live in Fargo, which has a vehicle rail...
***UPDATE***4/3 was moved to awaiting shipment, est delivery still 4/22.
Our timeline reads:
- 2/15 Order placed for White tri Platinum Max, buckets, max tow, med cer interior
- 2/22 Order shows up on Cotus In order processing with production date of 4/9 and delivery date of 4/29...
UPDATE - Yesterday our status changed from In Order Processing to In Production. So 14 days ahead of our original build date. Still shows an expected delivery date of 4/22. Which is still 7 days ahead of our original expected delivery date. Delivery is into Fargo.
I actually saw that first pic and immediately went to that companies website to check on the price for those wheels. I love the lower stance and larger wheels.
