    I have been having a "snapping" or "slapping" type noise that seems to come from the rear end when I get to 30MPH and seems to go away by 40MPH. It isn't constant, it may only happen when driving straight or at a slight turn etc. Maybe I just can't hear it over the road noise at higher speeds...

    I had my tires installed and my wheels aligned today, I didn't think to ask how much they were going to charge me so I got gouged like a mother-fucker. $150 to mount and balance 4 tires, swap my old spare, and a front end alignment. The whole job took less than an hour.

    if you are having an emergency and you need a temporary fix for a loose battery terminal on post that wont tighten enough you can just add a layer or two of aluminum foil over the battery post and tap the terminal on tightly over it.

    Bottle jacks are compact and most have threaded extensions. I have a four ton autozone branded one. $30 It raises to 14.5 " and weighs less than 8lbs And the footprint is small, you can boost the jack with 2x6s if you ever needed to.
