Honestly sometimes I really think doing a job once is a thing. Timing job...will you just replace the pump or all components around it so as not to do this job again...common sense.
Maybe 3 months before the oil pump clogged and guides were gone. Honestly those tensioners are the cause. The pump screen clogged is what deprives the oil. Metal shavings come from the engine front cover being slapped.

It is probably your timing chain tensioner. Sometimes with age they bleed over night or after some time. When you first start it there is no oil pressure yet and as they get the oil the slack is taken out. Or it could be compressor it’s a Ford welcome to the family!
If you are going back to bags you will have to condition the material ever so often or it will fail again. The springs really are better and more reliable. But if your after oem just condition the bags
