The damn thing is choppy. HD tow pkg, 22s. It chops and crunches over everything. The sunroof thumps and clicks, the seats spring board constantly. The roads aren’t bad but they aren’t great. This thing rides very firm. My 25 Silverado, 2012 Tahoe, and 2002 Excursion were/are all way...
My 2022 is same set up. It’s a very stable, planted ride. No step out or instability. However, the 22in wheels on the Generals are “choppy”. Its ride on some paved surfaces resembles that of a sports car. The thicker side walls on the 18s really chill the ride out but handling take a hit...
My thoughts exactly. You can’t justify a 88K platinum an not a 100K navigator. I rented a 2023 Escalade in Vegas for a few days and I still prefer the 4th gen….now this wasn’t a V. But the gwiz screens were a lot and it didn’t feel like 100K to me
Anyhow, I picked up my dad the other day (he...
I had one as a rental for a week. Standard length. The interior is superior and so is the ride. The back is ugly. Overall I enjoyed it.
But for some reason their market share is tiny. It looks like Ford sold more Expys in a quarter than Jeep produced in all of 23. I don’t even know...
This is the first thing that came to my mind. I turned mine off
In the manual, there are dozens of warnings that outline the limitations of the system.
Ah. A 2v. Solid platform. Some say the most reliable expedition.
I had an 02 F150 Lariat 4.6 and it may have been the best pickup I ever had.
I’ll be watching! Good luck with it
Change drive modes?
Mine is choppy on these 22s with the Generals. But far from exhausting, no exhaust noise.
You seem miserable, no way to live. Dump it
Definitely temperature related. It was -10F when we started to hear it after the truck sat outside for hours. I’m no longer concerned. It’s not many days during the year it gets like that and I’ll make sure it’s in the garage.
Most are. My Silverado Z71 (8L90) is very smooth. It slips and clunks from time to time.… right when I’ve forgotten.
I wouldn’t be bothered by it. But that’s me. I’ve adjusted my driving style a bit lately too.
I know what you are talking about I’ve ridden in some that do it. I’ve witnessed it with Dodge rams and Tahoe’s too.
No clunking in mine so far and it’s been smooth.
It’s was below zero. There’s a plastic cover that goes across that’s suspect. It’s got to be temperature related. There was a little dry snow and ice on the roof but I don’t think that was the problem
It was slow going on the roads in AR, MO and OK this weekend. This “snow beast“ was fantastic. My wife was driving the first half without me and she took this picture. 1 click on the drive mode and she was off. A little rattle (sunroof we think) developed on the home stretch last night so...
New rattle tonight. I’m 90% certain it’s the sunroof. It did not do it this morning on the 100 mile drive up but did on the return trip 10 hours later. It’s loud and annoying. It must have to do with the temperature it was -5. Some snow and ice up there but not much.
All good questions for your service department.
We all feel like victims when stuff like this happens And we all want answers right away. About 10 years ago my wife and 3 daughters were in our brand new 2013 Explorer and it died in a left turn lane in Dallas. It was the battery.
my wife was...
