Beware of reman alternator cases!
I just went through quite a hassle with the alternator on my 2004 Expy. Got the replacement, a reman in a Motocraft case. Alternator appears to function perfectly; but when I went to tighten two screws which hold the alternator case and the top brace/bracket together the threads in the case...- DJ04

Poor sound gen 2
2004 Eddie Bauer with the top sound system (Nav and all that). The sound quality of the stereo is poor. Without getting rid of the whole thing (I like having the 6 CD trays) is the problem a poor amp or poor speakers? If just changing speakers will make it OK I will try that route. I know...- DJ04
