CrazyR, how'd you "clean out" the old injectors? Did you have them sent in somewhere?Update:
Cleaned out old injectors and replaced seals, took out new injectors, installed old ones, problem gone. 18-20 mpg on the freeway now instead of 10-13. No more hard starts.
An Injector can be leaking, emptying the fuel pressure. When the vehicle sits the fuel leaks out into the cylinder. If the cylinder is flooded it may not fire causing a misfire. You can have white smoke at start up. None of that would cause a code unless the misfire was bad enough.Shouldn’t it throw a code if a injector isn’t working right?
