Hey guys got an 01 xlt in black (paint code is UA) and also has silver trim over wheel wells and rear and front bumper. Rear bumper is actually completely silver. for the life of me I can not figure out the right touch up paint for the trim. I am looking to get it detailed sometime soon and have some chips on my front bumper (black) and rear bumper scratches (silver).
I removed the rust last year and was simply going to go over the spots on the front bumper with touch up paint off the internet since they are small rock chips but plenty. The rear bumper same plan but bigger scratches.
So, any tips on that silver trim color would be great.
Also, what paint and method of attack have you used on your trucks? Will a simple touch up pen work followed by a detail?
