02 EB 4x4 w/ Air Suspension- Can I lift it? Help!

I have a 2002 Eddie Bauer 4x4 with air suspension that I would love to lift... but every shop I talk to says I can't do it. At first, it was because of possible vibration issues with the full-time 4x4 system, but the last shop said that they could not figure out how to disable the sensor for the air ride.

Is there any reasonable way to lift this truck? It's been a great ride, I've had it since new, had to sell it for no money, etc.

Ideally, I would put on a 6 inch lift to fit 35's.

Any help wold be greatly appreciated!

read the "finally don'e thread in show and tell thread. you can disable the air ride and put a fabtech 6" lift kit on if you want. if you get rear driveline vibration, there is another part you can buy that will eliminate that. but toohighexpo doesnt seem to have any problems with his.
