Okay I've seen some references to the McKesh towing mirrors and them being a very good mirror. I recently picked up a set of cida universal tow mirrors with the single hold down in the middle that attaches to the existing mirror and i have to say I was very disappointed. We had to readjust the darn things every some many miles. The fact that it only has the single hold down in the middle probably is the biggest reason why this mirror doesn't stay.. Two hold downs (one in front and one towards back) would have helped..
Anyways, my question is, has anyone tried the telescoping tow mirrors?
The ones made by visiocorp seem nice in the fact that they would replace the oem mirrors but I'd like to know if anyone has tried them and what they liked or didn't like..?
(here's a link- http://www.etrailer.com/p-CM76020.html)
Before I shell out some $450 I'd like to know they are worth it.. The Mckesh are nice but I'd be worried about my paint on the door, although from the feedback I've seen here it seems to be a non-issue..
thanks for any info..
