Has anyone had a problem with a sunroof leak? I had a problem tonight in heavy rain with water water travelling in the headliner and dripping out over the rear seat. Sunroof was closed. I just bought the car so I don't know if the problem is old. Thank you in advance.

This may sound silly, but are you sure the sunroof was properly closed? You need to keep the "close" button pressed until the sunroof closes and then raises a bit in the back. Otherwise, it's not sealed properly.
I have a '04 EB too and I've always found that a bit peculiar. Took me a while to get adjusted to this way of closing it.

Sunroof leaks
I have a 2000 and the sunroof leaks, and it is closed all the way.
This has happened before and the dealer said they installed over size drain tubes, because Expedition's had to small of a drain tube’s and were susceptible to clogging.
Mine right now is leaking like a sieve (so much for over size drains) and for the life of me, I can figure out were the drains are.
I have another car with a sunroof and can see the drains and I am able to clean them.

Most likely culprit(s) are clogged drains. Just clear the debris from them, pour some water down them to make sure they are clear, and you're good to go. Not exactly sure where they are on the 2nd gen though (even though I have one).
Glad that helped. I admit it took me a while to get used to how to properly close it in the first few days of using it. There were a couple times when I got up on the running boards to look at the roof and make sure the glass is flush with the rest of the roof
