06 EB Map light problem

I have just traded for a 2006 Eddie Bauer and the only problem I can find is that the map lights will not work. They neither come on when I open the doors or turn them on manually. This morning going into work the passenger side light came on and I turned it back off. It came on when I opened the door so I though maybe it was a loose bulb. When I got back in to come home it was not working . Does anyone have any ideas? It is the small push lights on the side overhead where the rear HVAC controls and sunroof controls are.

I finally figured out how to pop the covers off and the bulbs were good, just been in place too long. I removed them, bent the prongs on the bulb housing and everything is working great now
