Almost 2 if not 3 yes back, I posted something regarding my 08 Expedition chugging & seemingly backfiring. Many of you commented on what you thought it might be.
Anyway, I posting this to say after all this time, I finally had an engine code. It was one of the coils going bad. Since the truck was an 08 with 198,000 miles on it, I decided as long as it was going in for the bad coil, I may as well replace spark plugs. All 8 plugs were original, 5 of the 6 broke off (two piece plugs) & all were extracted without issue.
I'm happy to report that my truck is now running like a top.
