Depends on your towing terrain. If it's relatively flat where you tow, you would probably be OK, but keep an eye on your coolant temp. I'd think that removing your clutch fan adding an aftermarket electric fan would greatly improve your odds at keeping the rig cool. Not being able to kep an eye on the temp of the tranny would worry me a bit....not that the factory temp gauge is great, but at least it offers a little piece of mind.
