12v to 12v/120 upgrade

Anyone swap out the front 12v port with the F-150 setup?

When we travel, my wife is often doing work. Although the plug in the back should work, a plug in the front would just be more convenient for plugging and unplugging.

Any links or materials list would be greatly appreciated.

I traded my F-150 Platinum for the Expy Platinum just to try something different for a change. I thought I got ripped off not getting the 120 outlet in the dash. My truck had one in the dash and one in the back. First trip we took my wife tried to plug her laptop in and we both where like what?

Anyone do this switch? I like to swap out the 12v to a 110 port.

its been done on the f150 forum. including parts. (people swapped in the 120 on lower spec models)

If it is the same parts used in the navigator, the 120v will not charge my labtop. It overloads and flashes green.

The 120v only seen good enough for a cell charger
