Hey all I’m new to this forum. But not forums in general. I have a 16 Expedition (well the wife’s) and the power door lock on the driver side quit working. I swapped the Actuator with a new one, still not working. So I power test the wiring and it seems to have power. So I went back to autozone and exchanged the actuator for a different one. Still doesn’t work.
Does any one have a wiring diagram or is there a common problem with these door locks?

You said it is the driver side door. Is it the front or rear door, on the left side?

Does the affected door lock not (power) lock or unlock? Using the fob or door switch, does it not lock or unlock.

Do you have the Securicode key pad? Does it unlock or lock the affected door?

I should have been more specific. Driver side Front door, will not power unlock/ lock with door switch, key FOB, or securicode. After much fiddling, it seems to be a broken wire in the loom between the door and body. However I’ll tell ya what, finding a wiring diagram is seemingly impossible for this vehicle.

There have been several posts on this forum about that issue. One (if I recall correctly) had posted a photo of the cracked / split wire inside the rubber accordion conduit.

You may want to do a search and some reading here?

Good luck.

Do you have a link to the thread? I was unable to find any other threads with the same issue and similar generation. But to be fair, I don’t know these vehicles or their generations either so I may have looked right over it.

I don’t have a link. I vaguely remember the post. I often read posts involving the 2015 - 2017 models, as I had a 2015 Expedition Limited.

Ok, well I’ll attempt a better search. If for some reason you stumble across it, please link it lol.
