Hey all, My name is CaliWhite209. I am 16 and drive a Ford Expedition. I started off from a 05 Honda and went to the big white 2000 XLT Expedition. So far, I have plasti dipped the rims, grill and the side steps. I plan to do the front bumper(gray part) and the side mirrors to match the white and matte black theme I am doing. I also am planning to restore my headlights with a turtle wax kit and overall make improvements to my car. I am a junior in HS so I don't have much money to work with. Oh and I want to clean my engine because man is it dusty as heck.

If you decide to wash your engine be aware that in most cases the cop boots will leak water into the plug well and you will have a misfire.

If you wash it I would suggest removing the cops afterwards and using compressed air to blow out the plug wells. Not an easy task to access all of them. Might be best to do right before you plan on changing spark plugs.

Otherwise I would recommend keeping water far away from the cops.
