hey all. Bit the bullet with the wife's kid hauler and tore the dash out to replace the blend door so she could have a/c all around and not just in the rear. My dad finished re installing the dash for me when I was at work today and now the friggen thing will just sit there and crank and crank. Checked fuel pump relay, FIS, and for giggles went ahead and replaced the ignition switch. Damn thing won't run and I really kind of need it for the weekend. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Try putting the old ignition switch back in and see if it starts.

Did it start and run before you took the dash out?? If so then I would say that DAD missed something when he put the dash back in.

When you try to start the engine is the anti-theft light blinking rapidly??

I'm hoping that he missed an electrical connection somewhere. I plan on pulling the dash back out and checking over it all and HOPING I find something not connected. It was running beforehand. I don't have a theft Light I don't believe, if I do, then the light is blown because I've never seen it in the 3 years we've owned the truck

Spray starting fluid in the intake and see if it wants to run. And check the transponder key ring electrical connection if snug.

Will not start with starting fluid. Stumbles like it's about to turn over but no dice. Everything around the lock cyl seems tight

Also check the fuel shut off switch You should have 12 volts at the switch while trying to start You will need a helper to check this if the engine doesn't start the voltage will drop off You may have to check it a few times just to be certain of the voltage
