had the code pulled and it suggest that the EGR problems, bought the new EGR installed and the light didn't go out, put the old one in and checked the vacum lines ie PCV valve and they were bad. bought the new one at ford and the light stayed on, checked code again and EGR problems. should i just get the new EGR and try it. any suggestions help my baby

There a 2 components to the egr I beleive. They are both next to each other. One hooks in with the exhaust and the other has the vac lines. Could be either of those I suppose.

got a new code PO304 number 4 cylinder misfire, should i replace the coil pack right now the one in the car is like 4 years old i replaced all 8 at the same time but will only have enough money for one this time. and its in the back by the fire wall dont think i have the skills to do the swap its deep in there

Cylinder 4 is a very common one to have fail. It wouldn't hurt to have it replaced. Might want them to replace the plug too while they are in there. Otherwise, if it only runs rough at idle, then you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check all vac lines again. If you have the specific codes, post em up.

Replaced the #4 ciol pack running great only took 45 min. For one bolt and one clip what a *****, coodo's to you all love thi forum
