1999 EBE courtesy light timer

When I open the hatch the lights come on
problem is I work out of the back & it kills the battery

I notice the lights will turn off after maybe an hour
there must be a timer somewhere
if I can find it or even where the input from the door switches come into the module
I'll install a bypass switch like on an 03

I just replaced all the interior lights with leds. They draw virtually no power and they look cool.

I know other people have put in switches but that seems like too much work to me.

but having a dead battery isn't...


I can figure it out with the the connector map...

You could run all those leds for a month and not kill the battery.
