Howdy,
My name is Mike. We (myself, dw, & two kids) just picked up our first Expedition. I am not new to Ford. I have owned a few over the years. We just traded our beloved 02 Isuzu Trooper in towards this Expedition. The Trooper was a great truck, but we have gotten into camping the comfy way (travel trailer) and want a bigger trailer than it would tow.
So out with the old:

In with the new:

It isn't the color I was looking for, but these guys made me such a good deal, that I couldn't pass it up. The dealer had the truck for sale for over three months and wanted to move it. I am growing to love the color. lol
There are a few changes right off the bat that I plan to make. I want to retrofit the HD Towing package (trans cooler & bigger radiator), add a brake controller, and also swap out the factory running boards for some more substantial side steps fabricated out of DOM tubing to double as body protection from my backwoods exploring and general stupidity.
I have heard a few nightmare stories about changing the spark plugs on these trucks, so any advise about that as well as any other maintenance issues or things to watch for would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
